Lauren, lit 3 ways, July 2018. This was the second ever sitting for what I think I was calling ‘interview portraits’ at the time. Despite the name, I did a shit job of keeping track of  the questions asked and the stories told. Should’ve kept a journal of the shoots, but I didn’t intend to sit on them this long either…

Since her first year at @ucalgarySCPA, Lauren has been an advocating for student, local and professional theatre through her @whywhyseetheatre Instagram account where she hypes and reviews shows she’s seeing or working on. Her passion for the stage resonated with me from the minute we met, and I’ve been following her work ever since. It’s been a pleasure and privilege to find and work with young artists in this city like Lauren that believe this deeply in their craft. Can’t wait to see what you’re doing next, dude!
